The beautiful coastal village of Bussana is located at the foot of the famous artists village of Bussana Vecchia. Apart from small restaurants and a beautiful, free sandy beach, Bussana also offers you access to the Pista Ciclabile - regarded as the most beautiful bicycle path and walkway along the Ligurian coast, running from San Remo up to San Lorenzo al Mare. The Casa Bussana is on the first floor and offers ample room for up to four people. It has a well arranged double bedroom, a kitchen / living-room with a sofa bed, and a balcony. The finer details of the decor lend the apartment a very special flair. The very convenient location enables you to reach the shops and the beach in just a few minutes on foot.

Bussana was founded in February 1887 after the “old Bussana” on top of the mountain – today’s artist’s village of Bussana Vecchia - was destroyed by a great earthquake. After that the inhabitants moved to the foot of the mountain so that they can take only few minutes on foot up to the beautiful open sandy beach. To some extent there are still some untouched little stone bays where one can relax.






The beautiful church of Sacro Cuore located at the centre of the village was consecrated in 1901. The small park near the church beckons one for a walk, from where one can have a beautiful view of the sea and the Pista Ciclabiles.

    Use the cycle track to explore the area. Enjoy the evenings walking, eating in the restaurants and enjoying ice cream in Arma di Taggia. Visit Monte Carlo on the train. Swim in the sea and visit San Remo and Bussana Vecchia. There was a five day festival in Bussana which we were fortunate to experience whilst there.

    Alles sehr gut ausgestattet, vor allem die kueche. Etwas schwierig ist die gaestecouch, die ist ziemlich unbequem. Die restaurants in bussana Vecchio sind sehr zu empfehlen sowie die beiden rstaurants in bussana an der Piazza bzw. Der Kirche. Die Preise sind sehr gut und das essen auch.

    Ein Ausflug nach San Bartolomeo lohnt sich sehr, ist ein sehr schöner Ort. Für Meeresfrüchte-Liebhaber hat es direkt am Strand ein super Restaurant. Vielen herzlichen Dank für den guten Service. Da wir relativ kurzfristig gebucht haben (1/2 Tag vor Anreise) war ich froh um die gute und schnelle Beratung/Auskunft.
