Not far from the city centre of Imperia (Oneglia), with its many inviting shops, bars, restaurants and beaches, is the tranquil location of Casa Pellegrino. The third floor apartment imparts warmth and a feeling of welcome as soon as you enter. There are two double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with dining area and a large living room with a pull-out sofa. Casa Pellegrino is the perfect point of departure for tours through Imperia, be it visiting the olive museum, a shopping spree through the arcades above the weekly markets or visiting the plentiful fish and speciality restaurants in and around the harbour. Within minutes you are at the beaches of Imperia, and when you eventually tire of these you can try one of the many trips into the remote countryside of Liguria with its many lush olive groves and views over the lanscape. At the end of the day you can relax with a beautiful view of the sea, comfortably esconced on your large balcony.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero.

The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development.

Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

It was very comfortable. However the beds were very creaky. Public transport was very easy to use. A car is not necessary.There is a lovely, flat, walk to Diano Marina along the sea front. Very happy with the whole process and apartment. We would've liked a kettle to boil our water in, rather than a saucepan. As english people we like a cup of tea in the mornings!

Also Garten sind zwei Balkons, schlicht jeweils für nur eine Person ausgestattet, ansonsten sauber und gut. Restaurants ist schwierig, aber Orte zB, Diana Marina nur 4-5 KM entfernt hat sehr schöne Sandstrände und einen Ort wo man schön spazieren und schoppen kann, Ansonsten San Remo (36km) Nizza 100 km oder Genua 100 km alles so weit ganz toll gelaufen.

Sortir du centre ville touristique et du port pour trouver de jolis magasins et de meilleurs restaurants En ce qui concerne le centre de Bowling di Diano, prendre note pour information qu'il n'y a plus de kart, qu'il n'y a qu'une table de billard disponible pendant la journée et que le tennis de table n'est disponible qu'à partir de 20.heures

Keine Kritik, denn der Aufzug ist bald fertig. Es gibt ein total Tolles Zabajone-Eis im Hafen von Imperia-Porta Mauritzio, eine ganz kleine Eisdiehle nur durch eine Strasse von einem kleinen Spielplatz getrennt. Und ein Sonnenuntergang in dem neuen Park (noch nicht ganz fertig) zwischen Porta Mauritzio und Oneglia ist Fantastisch!!!

Die Ausstattung war super alles da was man braucht. Der Balkon war einwenig klein, aber daran kann man ja nichts ändern. Wir bedanken uns für die wirklich gute Abwicklung der gesamten Buchung. Der Urlaub war wirklich sehr schön. Sollten wir nächstes Jahr wieder Urlaub an der Riviera machen werden wir sicher wieder über sie buchen. Ob es denn wieder Imperia wird wird man sehen, es gibt ja schließlich noch andere schöne Orte. Vielen Dank

No - all OK - balconies are small but not much can be done about that. Be prepared for stairs - no lift; also lots of uphill walking to apartment. Lots of good restaurants - too many to remember names. Visit the Olive Museum. Use Imperia as a base to visit other towns/ areas.

Die Nachbarorte mit ihren Sandstränden sind eine Erkundung wert. Monte Carlo muss man gesehen haben. Und das Künstlerdorf (bei San Remo), dass nach einem Erdbeben Anno ...? entstanden ist, ist Pflicht und das zu nicht all zu später Stunde und mit einigermaßen festem Schuhwerk für die Erkundungen. Sehr interessant. Empfehlung auch an die dortige Gastronomie!!!

Lassen wie es ist . Die Balkongeländer sind für Kinder etwas niedrig . Das Hinterland , die Hafen - und Promenadenanlage . Es war alles toll .

War gut ausgestattet, angenehm, da keine klassische Ferienwohnung, sondern eine Wohnung, die genutzt wird. Konnten die Balkone selten nutzen: War zu früh im Jahr. Viel an der Küste entlang reisen, z.B. Altststadt von San Remo, Albenga, etc. Es war alles bestens.

War ein sehr schönes Urlaubsquartier. Toll war, das die Fotos im Netz autentisch waren und nicht "schöngeschminkt". Auch die Abwicklung hat wunderbar geklappt.
