This beautiful, fully detached house in Torria with a panoramic view of the entire valley is very agreeably furnished and located about fifty meters from the town centre. From the entrance you climb the stairs to your own floor from there, you\'ll have direct access to the terrace and balcony. Torria is an ideal starting point for cycle tours and hiking expeditions throughout the area, and it is especially suited to those seeking peace and quiet. There are some very fine restaurants located here too, that will be happy to introduce you to the delights of Ligurian cuisine,

The ancient town of Chiusanico lies on a ridge, where oak and chestnut woods alternate with hills covered with olive groves. According to a tradition that is corroborated by some researchers, this was the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, although there is no general agreement among historians.

Torria is quietly located on a mountaintop above Chiusanico / Pontedassio, about 25 minutes from the sea and Imperia. It has a superb panoramic view of the valley. Torria offers some works of art that are well worth seeing: the drinking-trough beneath a sixteenth-century loggia, a bas-relief dated 1477 in the parish church of San Martino, the oratory of the Disciplinati della Santissima Annunziata and the sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. This district is the venue for a biennial photography competition; the sports complex is equipped for fencing competitions.

You can take the path leading from an ancient stone wash-house in Torria and make your way up to the sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve and, passing through the woods, continue on to the San Giacomo pass and Monte Arosio.



A small grocer’s and two good restaurants are located nearby.

Just below Gazzelli, you can purchase the much awarded “Rocca di San Nicola” wine straight from the vineyard (Vermentino and Pigato). Excellent olive oil is also available, which is free of pesticides because it has been grown at altitudes above 400 m. This is also where lots of hiking or mountainbike trails start.

s.o. Ein Kühlschrank schloss nicht richtig. Die Waschmaschine beim Vermieter zu benutzen, ist ok, ein Hinweis darauf, selbst Waschmittel mitzubringen, wäre gut, denn wir gingen davon aus, dass Waschmittel beim Benutzen der Waschmaschine inclusive wäre. Der Vermieter verlangte aber 2 Euro pro Waschmittel-Waschgang. Das ist recht viel, wenn 1 Paket Waschpulver schon für 4 Euro zu haben ist. alles prima, viele Liegestühle, guter und stabiler Sonnenschirm, großer Tisch, Sitzauflagen, was will man mehr. Auch ein Grill war vorhanden. sehr netter Vermieter, der uns immer mal was mitbrachte und sehr unkompliziert und freundlich war!

Ganz dringend sich was gegen stechmücken zu besorgen " kerzen, reucherschnecken - gibts im BENET Teebaumöl" Ausflugsziele wären Alassio, Genua, Monaco, Grotte von Torriano. Für Taucher das Divecenter WestcoasrDivers in Imperia, nette Tauchplätze z.b. Wracks schön war´s

Restaurant im Ort ist auch nur bedingt empfehlenswert - keine Auswahl an Speisen. Der Vermieter war sehr nett!!

In Ordnung aber der Sonnenschirm ist schon sehr alt und wird sich demnächst auflösen. Wir waren das zweite mal in diesem Objekt, es liegt traumhaft, allerdings wären für die Zukunft mal einige Modernisierungen nötig. Betten und Küche schon angesprochen.
